About This Company
Energy Tech
EnergyTech (formerly known as SPSP) was established in 2008 to meet the energy sector’s workforce needs and support Saudization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was founded by the Ministry of Energy, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Saudi Arabian Chevron, Saudi Aramco, and Aramco Gulf Operations, with the support of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
An independent, non-profit institution, EnergyTech is governed by a Board of Trustees representing its key stakeholders. The energy sector in the Kingdom consists of numerous contracting companies engaged in exploration, drilling, and production operations, working closely with major industry leaders such as Saudi Aramco and Saudi Arabian Chevron.
EnergyTech delivers comprehensive training programs to fulfill the sector’s Saudization requirements. Backed by several leading international energy contractors in Saudi Arabia, the institution has developed a range of industry-specific training programs delivered exclusively at its facilities. This ensures that graduates enter the workforce fully competent and ready to take on highly skilled technical roles.
In addition to its core technical programs, EnergyTech offers short courses and certifications for employees and contractors, an accelerated engineering development program for young engineers, and leadership programs designed for professionals serving the energy sector.
